First we went through the Chief General Manager and the Department of
supervision and then by the time we reached the DG we had tired the RBI
into
understanding our problem.
This particular matter can be escalated and then lets see if we need a
circular or guidelines.
Lets hope it gets resolved at the local level.
I will of course write to the Chairman of the company.

There is no such question on the form and Obviously not because there is
no
higher returns for the investments of the Disabled. for - they are very
happy to have my money.
Also from what I am reading on this list is that many visually impaired
people whose disability is apparent have been given loans. So this seems
to
be a local issue but needs to be dealt with strongly.

Many a times, loan documents will not contain your disability
certificate.
They don't ask, and we don't tail.
Whether kanchan has declared her disability while depositing with them, I
don't know.
Probably not.
RBI should, ideally, on the lines of banks, issue instructions to NBFCs
for
non-discrimination.
