Hi I have been on many ropeways across the country, never did I face such predicament. Although I have been to Gangtok a couple of occasions, I don't recall being on any ropeway there specifically.
On some ropeways, you have to get in and out when the car is in motion, which can be a concern area for the operator, I personally did not find it challenging. I will concede, there is some concerns in those systems. There is no concerns in point to point systems where the car is not inmotion. During the trip, we were taken for a ride on a rope way, "Damodar rope way". The manager ticket counter expressed his concern" our company doesn't permit to board person with disability on ropeway, but we allow all normal person including 10 month kid" this is the matter of "lack of sensitivity" or "inhumane"?
