Dear Colleagues, We at the University of Hyderabad are pleased to announce half-a-day workshop on ‘accessibility and life skills’ on 9 June, Saturday from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The Workshop includes: • Hands-on-demonstration of Bookshare resources; • Screening of an accessible Movie/documentary, followed by a brief panel discussion; • Hands-on demo of Managing Table Manners with or without sight; The 2nd half of the day would be dedicated to the distribution of certificates for a batch of students who underwent a 4-week computer training programme conducted by the Empowered Committee for Differently Abled Persons, ECDAP, University of Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Enable India, Bengaluruu. Mr. Moses Chowdhary hhas kindly agreed to be the chief resource person for the event. The certificates would be given away by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, University of Hyderabad. The interested friends are welcome to come and participate: there is no registration fee.
