as for my observations, when the user reache's the turn, visually the arrow mark will be shown, but, the screen reader may not report the same. if you driving the car on your own, then you have to observe the arrow rather than the screen reader. and, for your information, the voice prompts are designed only from the driver prospective. it just alerts the drivers what to do next.
