The RNIB has a couple of Ambutech canes, and they deliver to India. You could 
look through their catalogue. There would be shipping charges, but if you 
really like the make, then I'd say it's worth it. You could order more than one 
so you wouldn't need to do this again when this one needs replacing.  You'd 
need to be careful about precisely what model you're looking for, though  - 
they've got many. The graphite ones, especially the slimline series isn't a 
particularly practical choice for terrain like ours.  They've got a good 
variety of cane tips as well that you could explore, quite customizable that 
way.
