Health Department set to start eye collection centres in district hospitals
Move aimed at bridging the gap between demand and supply of corneas
To promote eye donation and bridge the huge gap between demand and
supply of corneas, the Health Department is set to start eye
collection centres in district hospitals soon.
Increasing the number of eye donations is crucial as corneal blindness
can be treated only through transplantation from eye donations as

2. Jobs-
One post as Executive Officer (Executive State Municipal Services) (on
contract basis) for Low Vision in Himachal Pradesh Public Service
Commission (HPPSC). Qualifications: A candidates must possess a
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an Institution/ University
recognized by the Govt. The candidates are required to submit a
printout of online recruitment applications (ORA) alongwith self
attested / attested copies of requisite documents in support of their
eligibility for the concerned post(s) on the day of Screening Test or
as & when advised by the Commission and in other cases where direct
Personality Test will be held, 10 days time will be given to submit
requisite documents failing which his/ her candidature shall stand
finally rejected as per essential qualification(s) for the concerned
post(s). No extra time will be given for submission of any documents.

Required Medical Physicist, Medical Laboratory Technologist,
Stenographer, Assistant Warden for Low Vision in All India Medical
Science Institute (AIIMS), Delhi. Qualification: (i) Medical
Physicist: (i) Post Graduate Degree in Physics from a recognized
University. (ii) A Post M.sc, diploma in radiological/medical physics
from a recognized University; & (iii) An internship of minimum 12
months in a recognized well-equipped radiation therapy department. Age
Limit: 35 years. (ii) Medical Laboratory Technologist: Bachelors
Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology/Mecdical Laboratory Science
from a Govt. recognized university/institution with two years relevant
experience in a Laboratory attached with ahospital having minimum 100
beds. Age Limit: 30 years. (iii) Stenographer: (i) 12th class pass or
equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University OR
Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or
university with 5 years's service (regular or ad-hoc) as Stenographer
in Govt. Organisation/Institution. (ii) Skill Test Norms. Dictation:
10 mts @ 80 w.p.m. Transcription: 50 mts (English) & 65 mts. (Hindi)
(only on computers) Age Limit: 27 years. (iv) Assistant Warden: 1.
Degree from a recognized university. ii. Certificate/Diploma in House
keeping/Material Management/Public Relations/Estate Management from a
recognized Institution. Age Limit: 30 years. The online registration

Rules
Braille Writing Competition
1.Participants are requested to bring their own Braille slates and styles.
2. Both contracted and open Braille is allowed.
3. Topic for writing will be announced on the day itself.
Solo Dance
1.Participants are requested to bring their own CD/DVDs with music
2.3 + 1 minute will be given to each participant.
 Semi Classical singing
1.Each participant is requested to bring his/her own instrument and
the player to support.
2. Each participant will be given 4 minutes to perform.
•Refreshments for all participants and the volunteers will be distributed.
• Cash prizes and   participation   certificates will be given to the
