So that much discussed KYC happened for me today at home & it took
less than 3 minutes for the person to complete it for me. Subsequently
I informed the concerned that it was done for me & the assured to
inform of it to their concerned teams. Now I am awaiting their
response to see what's next. Would surely let the group know what
follows through.

Thank you,

Think they authenticate your ID, PAN and Aadhar, and match it with the
person. You have to show them the documents in a way wherein they can
click a photograph of the document. They would also need to click you.
This is what I was told by both Standard Chartered and American
Express. So its not really about the signature, as the application is
anyways taken online. So, ICICI shouldn't create much fuss really. You
should surely not let it go, fight it out, they do have processes to
get cards issued to blind person, just that most people dealing with
it aren't aware of the same.

Hi all,

I recently filled up the online application for the
Amazon
ICICI
credit card & was presented with the video KYC option.
Once
I
opted
for that, the representative refused to conduct my KYC
once
she
realised me being blind. She instead suggested me to

for
the
home
document collection option.

I have scheduled the home collection thrice but no one
has
come
up
for
it till now.

I would like to know, if the video KYC is not for the
blind.
&
if
yes,
then what are the rules for it.

Thank you,

Bharat.
