Dear friends, I am trying to open current ac. In private banks but in vain. I have approached kotak Mahindra bank and hdfc bank. Kotak guys told me that they will not issue cheque book and debit card despite sharing rbi circulars and guidelines with them and hdfc bank guys are still hanging me around.
