What about providing speech synthesizers etc? I am reminded of one specific occasion when I was supposed to give a presentation to the director of education and I found that the PC which I was given was without a sound driver.
I had portable Jaws but as the sound was not installed, Jaws was displaying the error. When the narrator also did not work, I assumed it was something wrong with the audio driver.
