Organization: Help the Blind Foundation Location: all over Tamil Nadu Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: Help the Blind Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Computer Trainer to provide training in computer usage with screen readers, mobility, and English communication for visually impaired individuals. The ideal candidate should have expertise in assistive technology, student engagement, and leadership. This role requires extensive travel across Tamil Nadu to conduct training sessions. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive training on computer operations using screen readers. • Provide training on mobility and orientation techniques to enhance independent movement. • Conduct English communication training tailored to the visually impaired learners. • Guide students in using digital platforms and assistive technologies effectively. • Assess student progress and provide individualized support as needed. • Foster an inclusive, engaging, and structured learning environment. • Travel to various locations across Tamil Nadu to conduct training programs. Qualifications & Requirements: • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any discipline. • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Tamil and English (both written and spoken). • Technical Skills: o Expertise in mobility and orientation training. o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet browsing. o Communication & Leadership: Strong ability to communicate effectively in both Tamil and English, along with excellent leadership and student-handling skills. o Mobility Requirement: Willingness to relocate and work across Tamil Nadu as per training requirements.
