I am trying to open demat and trading account in HDFC bank. Where I have been ask to share my disability certificate and also sign a declaration letter stating I am literate / ill-literate, sign or cannot sign. I have been told that this is required by SEBI. Request you to guide me whether it's appropriate to submit this documents ? Have anyone else submitted the same. What am I supposed to do? Awaiting your positive reply. Best Regards, Sushmeetha B.
