My name is Swagat, and I am from Mumbai. I am writing to seek urgent help and guidance regarding a mental health concern. One of my close friends recently lost his vision and became blind just 8 days ago. As you can imagine, he is going through a very difficult emotional and psychological phase while trying to cope with this sudden life-changing situation. I would be grateful if anyone could recommend a psychiatrist, psychologist, mental health counselor, or any organization experienced in supporting individuals who have recently lost their vision.
