Dear Suresh,
Please don't be so harsh in the terms of taking this course.
This is a useful course & I am certain you will run it well. But you
need to relax your provisions. My suggestions are as follows: -
        (a) Do not impose an upper age limit. Let anyone take the
course. This is the only tool available to "read" & "Write"
independently.
         (b) Good knowlege of English & maths are going to knock out
lots of possible students. You could relax it to read working knowlege
of English only.
         (c) You need not waste time teaching keyboard typing. Let
them learn it & come. Test it at entrance time.
         (d) Throw in lots of tests during the course. These will
not only assist evaluation, but also assimilation.
I am visiting Bangalore in a few days. Can I come & meet you?
