Dear List, After reading the mail, I too discussed the issue with a friend of mine, who also appeared in the exam. His centre was in Siliguri, West Bengal. However, His Scribe was only Tenth passed, but according to him their was no such complications regarding the alligibility of the Scribes. May be this is just a case of few centres. But even though, the situation described by Rajesh Jee, is really alarming for VI community. Since it is not an easy task to get an alligible and suitable Scribe, and several times many among us are compelled to not appear in such exams, only because of unavailability of Scribes. And implementing such arbitrary policies on us is only going to add some more hurdles in our life, and this isn’t acceptable.
