Dear Rajesh, Kanchan and Others, Even when there are rules, sometimes, (in fact more than often) blind people have to fight for these things like the service of scribe: this is the Indian truth. In Delhi University, during last one year, we had lengthy discussions at the level of Equal Oppertunity Cell regarding the availability and eligibility of scribe. We have now prepared a long draft, which we are trying to get approved by the University. But we felt that there always be irregularities; and therefore, we would need a proper system of redresal in such cases. It would be extremely helpful if Kanchan can send me these regulations in attachment so that we can print an authentic copy to use as a supportive document in our struggle at Delhi University on this issue.
