Hello,
I have pasted the relevant portion from Jaws help. I have also added my
observations below. Give it a try if it helps you.
Drag and Drop (CTRL+INSERT+NUM PAD SLASH)
This command is used to drag items from one location and drop them in
another. Position the JAWS Cursor on the item you wish to move and press
CTRL+INSERT+NUM PAD SLASH. You can leave the JAWS Cursor active, or you can
switch to the PC Cursor. JAWS will keep speaking as you navigate. Once you
have positioned the JAWS or PC Cursor in the location to which you would
like to move the item, press CTRL+INSERT+NUM PAD SLASH again, and the item
will be moved to the position of the active cursor.
My observation: Both the dragged item and the place should be visible on the
screen. Otherwise the action will be cancelled. For a trial,
Go to Windows Explorer window and expand one of the drives, say C drive.
Now locate a file or folder using jaws cursor. Or, select a file and route
jaws cursor to pc cursor using insert+num pad minus.
use the key combination, ctrl+insert+num pad slash to drag the item.
Locate a folder or even a drive using jaws cursor. It will make sure that
you are not hiding the desired item.
Use the same key combination ctrl+insert+num pad slash to complete the drop
operation. Jaws will confirm if it succeeds or fails.
Remember that you cannot drag a file to a new location when the dragged item
is covered. If you want to drag an item from one window to another window,
say from Desktop to C drive, keep both windows in Restore mode from the
system control menu using alt+size. Sighted people can use the window resize
option to perform this operation.
Best regards,
Amiyo Biswas

Hello ashish sir!

find.
The term dragging is actually a four-part process. It consists of
clicking the left mouse button
on an item, then locking or holding down the left mouse button, using the
arrow keys to move
the JAWS cursor to a new location, and then unlocking or releasing the
left mouse button.
Press the key combination CTRL+INSERT+NUM PAD SLASH to drag and drop.
To drag the JAWS cursor outside the active window, press and hold down
the ALT+SHIFT keys
while using the arrow keys to direct the cursor.
sir! I think, I have given your answer.
if some problem persist, let me know I can provide also an audio tutoriol
of JAWS cursor.
