Well, it sounds good that you are all discussing ATM. Unfortunately, there is not a single talking ATM in Kolkata, as far as I know. I don't know if there is any ATM in eastern India. Is there?

This is yet another operational oversight probably; an which need to be fixed. When an able bodied is empowered to use other bank ATM, then why should it be restrictive to the blind? I would go further with this to say, the blind persons should not be levied charge when presently is in vogue when one uses other bank for more than x number of times.This exemption may be dropped after we have accessible ATM's in all places.

PNB has also installed some talking ATMs. two such ATMs are available in Jaipur. to use the speech facility no special card is required there. but it does not provide speech output with other bank ATMs.
