Dear Sir,
I do not think that Tally is available for download. To get the software,
you will need to contact an authorised Tally distributor.
The latest version of Tally for individual use is Tally version 9.0 & the
latest ERP version for corporate use is Tally version 9.2

Dear Friend,
I will certainly try to prepare a basic tutorial for using Tally with
JAWS. Unfortunately, I cannot promise as to when it will be ready due to
my busy work schedule.
In the meantime, I request all friends on Access India to send me their
suggestions regarding areas they wish the proposed tutorial to cover.
Your suggestions can be sent off-list on my email id, sala...@gawab.com

Hello Sameer,
Why don't you compile some tips for tally? Many ask me about tally. I
tried it once for them, could not do anything about it. I work mainly in
Excel. But if you write a tutorial on tally, it will benefit many users.
It's a very common accounting software here. Please do it.
With best regards,
Amiyo Biswas.

Dear Amar,
Tally 9.2 is semi-accessible with JAWS & is the latest version of
Tally. All further releases of Tally are ERP-based & not required if
you want to maintain personal accounts.
There are some JAWS scrips for older versions of Tally but none for
version 9.2.
Feel free to call me if you require any help in learning Tally.

Subject: [AI] Learning Tally
Dear Experts,
I have to learn tally for maintenance of my accounts.
First, which is the latest version? I have tally 9.2 installed on my
system. I don’t mind if it is semi-accessible.
Second, a resource which can help me in getting started?
Third, any configuration changes required to be make it more
accessible except installing scripts if their exists any?
Last but not least, anyone interested in extending his helping hand
for learning tally?
Looking for positive response.
Regards
Amar Jain.
