Hello sir,

I am very glad that someone is finally taking up with RBI.

I have borne the brunt of this kind of arbitrary recruitment policies
of RBI last year for 2 positions in 3 ways.

Position = Officer Grade b

1. Even though RBI came on my MBA school campus (JBIMS). It did not
interview me. And interviewer asked me to apply through centralized
process.
2. When I applied through centralized process where it was written “no
reserved seat for VI, but can apply”, I could not get through a very
simple test.

Position = Executive Intern (contract):
Even being over-qualified, for back up I applied to this position and
reached till last round, but was not offered job after a good
performance in the interview.

Conclusion,
Most of the PSU banks including RBI, IDBI showed vague reluctance in
hiring VIs last year.
IDBI even issued error acceptance in their add about earlier
reservations. I remember my friend was shattered.
3.
We should find out how many VIs were actually recruited last year by
public banks.
And also sir, I would like you to have a look at the current going add
for research officer by RBI which again says: no reservations, but
handicaps can apply.” And I am not sure, what does that mean.

Anyway, I am well placed with a private conglomerate but wish good for
guys who want to be in public banks. We got to push for them.

Regards
4.      Ekinath Khedekar
