Hi techies there,
The PDF files really consume most of my job hours. I waste lot of time
in making PDFs accessible which are mostly annual reports of different
companys for financial analysis.
I request you to help me with PDF navigation, location of text or
tables, copying of tables to excel sheet properly.
In fact, I am using a very fine software to convert PDF to word which
does a very good job in even converting image photo from any mobile
phone of any print.
However, it fails with tables.
Specific problems:
1. Not able to properly convert tables from pdf to word
2. Not able to select the table from the converted docx file
3. After pasting table inm excel using paste special text feature
still sometimes table gets messed up
Objective: Getting financial statement tables in to excel so I can do
many calculations where typing the whole balance sheet in the excel
sheet is not required.
Pl. help me with this and I shall be very grateful.
