Seats are reserved for VIs as well. I had appeared for this exam the last time. However, the scribe was provided by the examining authorities and they were far from useful.
Infact, the scribe I got was from Hindi midium and she could not read a single sentence in english, without making mistakes, mispronanciation and fumbling. The irony is, even if the exam was objective type, questions were very long and answers short in options given, as they were all questions relating to law. The exam wasn't tuff, but because of the above problem, I could not reach question number 75, for the above reason, out of 200 questions, I think. So, be vigilant this time around. You may want to meet the Registrar High Court, Delhi, if you so wish, in order to avoid the earlier problem. Other candidates, who appeared for the exam would also agree with me as they also faced similar problems. Please let me know, if anyone requires any further specific information. All the Best to all candidates appearing for the exams. Thanks and warm regards, Rahul.
