Hi Umesha,
I dropped the idea to perchase other two models because, one was I3
processor while another one was not available in stock.
Yes I am running windows xp professional version. The machine is
running on this 32 bit platform quite efficiently and with out any
error.
I got the driver cd from the lenovo but it was 64 bit platform,
however I downloaded the drivers from lenovo website which are
dedicated for xp only.
All softwares provided in driver list are working fine with no minimul issue.
Jaws is working with out any problem, I am using Jaws 12 and it is
fully supporting wideo intercept. I use machine in a day approximetly
16 hrs, It doesn’t heat at all, its quite normal.
Since the machine is new, the battery backup is now not less then 3 hrs.
I got various accessories, remember at that time due to Divali there
was special goodies bag filled with 10 different accessories like
mouse, card reader, vacume cleaner, USB hub, Registered Macaffy
antivirus and Earphone. Apart from this bag I got one Philips Notebook
sound bar, SPA 2510, One Reboke sunglass.
Who ever suggested u to go with thinkpad is absolutely right.

Lenovo’s thinkpad series is most durable in terms of use for longer
hours and carrying from one place to another while traveling etc. But
thinkpad series is very expensive, the configuration in idea pad
searies which I got with in 40,000 Rs, is available for 70,000 Rupees
in thinkpad searies. So if you can afford for such good configuration
in this searies then you will be having a handsome machine in ur
hands. Otherwise use this Idea pad searies. Its also not too bad, for
single use its best. I perchased this searies considering that after
two or three year I will take another one latest of that time. With
thinkpad you can go more than five year with facing no problem.
