I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and the scroll lock ke is not present on it. Pressing FunctionKey+NumLock twice quickly toggles the scroll lock on/off.

I use a Dell laptop which does not seem to have a scroll lock key at all. Also, I did try highlighting the text in a cell while in the edit mode. However, Excel lets you choose the formatting of a cell or a row, and not specific text in a cell. There must be some other way of highlighting selected text in a different colour. Finally, ctrl-insert-alt-c for reading column titles did work for me in Jaws 11, but no longer works in Jaws 12. Any other suggestions? Toggle it to Off state. You should be able to navigate with arrow keys and also select specific text in a cell in Edit mode. For JAWS to speak column titles, place the cursor in the row containing heading/titles and press CTRL+ALT+INSERT+C. You would hear JAWS say something like: "Setting Column Titles row range to N", where N is the row number. Now JAWS would speak column titles automatically.
