Hello Friends,

Today, I would like to share that beautiful fact of Indian Railway which is
very unexpected for all of us.

One of my friend was trying to purchase a train ticket from Mumbai to
Aurangabad in 12071 Jan Shatabdi Express with the concessional fair of 75%
which is applicable for the blind and other disabled categories in SL, CC, 3A,
2A and may be in 1A classes of all passenger/mail/express/super fast trains
except Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto express trains.

While purchasing this ticket, he came to know that the 75% of concessional fair
is not applicable in any classes of Jan Shatabdi express trains. I have also
confirmed the same from the Indian railway website, integrated call centre and
some other railway reservation counters in Mumbai. They were also got surprised
with this unbelievable fact while confirming the recently received guidelines
of Rajdhani and Shatabdi express trains from the Ministry of Indian Railway on
1st July, 2011.

The concessional fair is really not applicable in both second seating and chair
car classes in all Jan Shatabdi Express trains; even there is no handicapped
quota or separate coach attached in any of these trains.

Friends, what do you think? Do you think we should raise this point to the
Ministry of Indian Railway? Your valuable feedback is highly expected on this
point.
