hai friend, we normally recommend NVDA for reading any indian language just because E speak is inbuilt in that. if you are specific in using jaws for typing malayalam, you have to install e speak separately and configure with jaws. just type ESpeak in google search edit and you can easily find download link from its home page. then while installing, there will be a language dialogue and 3 to 4 edit boxes i think. in first box, "en en+us is given. just copy from that box everything and paste in next box. then edit "en" and replace with malayalam related letters i thing "ma". then at last, mail voice is given as M1 upto M3. you can change to female voice by changing to F1 to F3. then press next and install button. then in jaws, go to language menu, choose voice profiles, then go to create new option. there, eloquence is given at top list. you go down and select sapi5. then press tab, select ESpeak and select malayalam in language combo box then press save as. then you can give a new name and make it your default option. but it is advised to keep eloquence as default and change to malayalam whenever we want in middle.
