Hi Rajesh and Harish, Unfortunately it didn't work actually and many booking clurks here in Tamilnadu are completely unaware of that and henceforth I had to settle for a WL ticket at the moment. But something needs to be done and I will explore proper contacts within railway to take this matter to their attention.
