Hi No, a same direction it would call out differently. It behaved erratic indoors as well outdoors. Some of the Nokia phones like e72 has built in compass. There is no accessible way to use it along with Talks.I understand MS has support for it. At Loadstone they had promised support for it, However, the next built did not get released at all. Harish.

Did the compass not give accurate directions? Remember, a compass points to magnetic north and not true north. Usually, this is not a problem for everyday usage but you do need to account for this if doing serious navigation. Other objects with high magnetic fields can also cause the compass to deviate.
