Hi Kiran, Very recently I have travelled with Indigo from Mumbai to Delhi and my return tickets were also booked with same Airlines.
If you do not inform them in advance, then you may have to wait on the counter for 5-10 minutes. My advice will be that call their customer care gguys or fill the form for assistance online. However, before 10-15 mins of reaching the counter, call up their Deputy Manager on duty, number of the same can be obtained from the call center (supervisor), and you will have someone to assist you right till the Aircraft.
