Following is the information on DU EOC website: EOC takes Delhi University students to London and Edinburgh
Students with disabilities have been supported by the University of Delhi for an educational visit to UK, to King’s College, London, and the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. The host institutions and the British Council have collaborated in significant ways to link the 22 undergraduate students with international institutions where they would gain first-hand knowledge about newer technologies in the field of disability rehabilitation. Also, the visit broadens their intellectual horizon through interaction with students with disabilities, teachers and professionals abroad. The programme provides ample opportunity for the groups to establish contacts and exchange ideas, bring knowledge of good practice and disseminate shared experiences, thereby paving the way to joint programmes and joint research in the future. The overall purpose of developing a holistic model for persons with disabilities is served by such a journey. The students are accompanied by University officials and helpers. The delegation leader is Shri Z.V.S Prasad, and the coordinator is Dr. Bipin Tiwary. On 7/20/13, Mohib Anwar Rafel <[email protected]> wrote: > When it happened? No notice?
