There are more such products. The Victor Reader Stream being one such
device. This has the capability to read several formats like, mp3, docx,
text, daisy both in text and audio format. This was available at A I C B
Delhi and the 2nd generation ones were available at 14,600 if I am not
mistaken. I am using it and this has a clear TTS voice both male and
female.
The user interface is also simple.
There is another product, which is not available in the country but is a
fantastic piece of equipment called the Booksense. This is made by HIMS
inc.
a much more expensive gadget it's XT model is priced at $500, but has a
basic model which is slightly cheaper. This can only be bought from the U
S
or the U K and maybe some other such countries.
