Dear Friends! Feels good to see some big-brotherly and even big-sisterly, goody-goody sounding sermons whether or not they take note of the ground realities. While no person with a sane and sensible head over her/his shoulders will ever disagree that one must exercise restraint in the matter of one's utterances, these big-brotherly and big-sisterly sermons should better be directed with pronounced emphasis at the individual who is a past master in the skills of spewing venom and in being personal. It is noteworty that someone's attempt to divide the blind by praising and thanking a few and by condemning some others should have gone so unnoticed so far by those few who are now pontificating on use of language. Registering one's protest against what one thinks is wrong, or stating a fact does not constitute abusive language. I feel nobody has used any objectionable language against that gentleman whom a few of us are perhaps at pains to defend for recondite reasons. I feel we must roundly condemn that person's sinister attempt to downplay Mr. Rungta's contributions and support-base when one makes a devious attempt to create a false impression that only six or seven people are supporting him. I have not heard anything more laughable than this in recent times. Best regards, Poonam!
