There you're doing a very big mistake. The screen brightness need not to be
in 60% even if that is kept on 0% it is visible though. Each their own.
Whether updating or not, but I always go for the new update since we'll be
gaining more features and even if that has a bug, as per the apple, they fix
that immediately.

If you are on iOS 6 then you should retain iOS 6 because brit voice in iOS 7
is very muddy and difficult to understand. Well from iOS 7.04 to iOS 7.1 the
performance on iPhone 4 is lil better, however in my case battery does not
even last for a day; with less than moderate use. But battery life is
subjective to various other things as well, but before iOS 7.1 it use to
last for more than a day with 3g on wify on and screen brightness upto 60 %
and also with location services on.
