Their are 8 blind schools in Assam. Jorhat Blind Institution, Guahati Blind School, Montfort Blind School, Borhompur Blind school Jyotinikaton Blind School, Bihpuria Blind School, Ghilamara Blind School. recently N.F.B. has established a school in Dharamtool near Jagirud.
