Talking ATM locator, a free android mobile app developed by Sagar Sodah,
our access India list member and Talking ATM India website are now jointly
extending service to search locations of talking ATMs near you.  App
database is at present in sync and linked with the Talking ATM India
website and updated as on 15 December 2014.

Yesterday mobile app’s updated version 1.1 is released on google play
store.  Visit play store and search for talking ATM locator and download.

Advantages of this mobile app are:
1. On the move your can search.
2. App is installed locally so no need of internet connectivity.
3. App is fully accessible with talkback.
4. Additional bankwise filter option is present.
5. You can set filter as per your need.
6. App user interface is low vision friendly.
7. Now you can search for total 4731 talking ATM locations through
http://talkingatmindia.org/website and as well as mobile app.
8. App’s source data is from website so in future webservice feature can be
added for app.
9. GPS functionality can be added in the app in future versions.
10. App is available for all android phones having version 4.0 and up.
11. This app is developed by and for visually impaired person.
12. In fact this is first of its kind of app which even sighted fellows can
also use as it has locations of 4700+ ATMs of 6 banks and they can search
easily by PIN or area on the move.  Generally apps by banks show their own
ATM locations.

Requesting all android phone users to have this app on their phone and to
find talking ATMs.
