I am currently involve with very interesting initiative along with
Prasant
Verma and dipendra manacha. We are invited by government of india to
formulate strategy for converting inaccessible websites into completely
disabled friendly/ screen reader accessible websites. We are proposing
100
websites to be taken up as initiative for accessibility and placing the
same
in front of high level advisory committee which is schedule to meet on
december 30, 2014 and upon their approval; implementations of Access for
all
initiative would execute. NIC has come up with 50 most frequent visited
websites and we are suppose to add on this list with another 50
frequently
visited websites. Unfortunately we are working against a tight deadline
and
would request you to kindly provide list of central government based web
sites which an be taken as part of this initiative by tomorrow 4pm.
Request
you to kindly check the list and then provide your input with complete
department name and URL.
