Why would anyone want to use webmail servers to fetch email from Yahoo,
Hotmail etc. if he already has an email account from which to send the
webmail requests??

Yahoo has an excellent email forwarding feature which can be used to bounce
email to any address of your choice.

In my book, using the webmail servers for activities such as fetching your
web-based email or MP3s amounts to abuse.

Subject: how to open a .ps file draft

Hello accmailers,

I got a file with the extension ps. I tried to open it with acrob reader but the
program
fail to do it. I open the file in text mode and saw at the beginning the following
line:

%PDF-1.2

I guess it's the the version of the reader I should use. My acrob reader is 3.0. I
would
appreciate if you could tell me how to open this kind of file.

Thanks.

Wow, Acrobat Reader 3.0 is not backward compatible to earlier versions?
Strange to say the least. You can try to read it with Ghostscript.
