I ran some upgrade test on a 10 node cluster. I also tested not shutting all
of the 1.3 processes down before starting the 1.4 upgrade. I had to kill all
of the 1.3 processes before 1.4 would completely start, but no data was
corrupted by 1.3 and 1.4 running at the same time.
