I don't think it's right at the moment. It would probably have to use Carlos's "rootdir" setting

to allow this directory to be included in all the subprojects. I think he's best placed to decide on the best approach. Is adaptertest-valid.xml only used in the adapter subprojects? If it's not actually used in the core perhaps it should be moved into the adapters directory.

I have just checked it a heap of changes to Maven, in an effort to get it a bit more reliable than it has been so far:

- multiproject:artifact is now successful when called from the project root
- the attributes sample is now completely Mavenised and works correctly
- Clover is now handled properly and is compatible with Maven 1.0.2 and JDK 5
- upgraded to EH-CACHE 1.1 (the latest) and implemented some supporting configuration changes
- on my machine, sorted out Maven accessing CVS reports (BTW PuTTY is a great tool when configured with shared SSH keys etc)

People who've been experiencing Maven problems are invited to try out these changes, in the hope they might help. If you have problems, please ensure you're running Maven 1.0.2 before posting to the list.

Best regards
Ben
