Does --ignore-dir=~/foo/bar/baz or
--ignore-dir=/home/dave/foo/bar/baz in ~/.ackrc work or not?

I note that the "like Ack but ..." projects are all using .gitignore ,
it seems to be a desired feature today.
Why have redundant lists of uninteresting files?
Having an ackrc option/directive to use-gitignore might be reasonable,
to have it be opt-in or opt-out.

But I don't thing that would help David pick _which_ copy of the
directory is searched and which isn't, either.
