it is like that: once ok once not-ok
that is why it is impossible to use any power management which might i.e
hibernate or suspend the system, since it would be doing it in the moment
broken acpi wants but not when there is real need for this

this laptop I bought in October 2007, so all kernel since then tested are
affected, and I tested: Ubuntu 7.10, Arch, Sabayon and few others
as well as I compiled my own - same problem, also newest 2.6.24 but does not
help
