It looks like ePower software does only some WMI work. Tracing IRP flow (with the tools like IRP Traker) can show what it actually does. Also there is a file "acpimof.mof" with a list of WMI requests that are used (as I think). >From the user point of view ePower sofware just sets CPU throttling, LCD brightness and Wireless/Bluetooth power state.
