------- Comment #36 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-09-18 18:26 ------- Hi, Alexey Why not revert my patch? If your patch is applied, the ec_parse_device will be executed twice for the laptops without the ECDT table. Maybe it is harmless. But it seems very superfulous. At the same time the EC Data/Command port is corrected when loading the EC driver. But it is too late. Maybe EC will be accessed in _INI object and in the course of scanning ACPI device. For example: On the laptop of this bug the EC will be accessed in the _STA object of BAT0. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
