Sorry for the slow response.
From the comment #36 it seems that the box can be booted with
"processor.max_cstate=1". But from the comment #9 it seems that the box can't
be booted with the same boot option. Contradictory.
Will you please double check it again?
It will be great if you can double check the boot option of "idle=halt".
