Summary: Resume lock up after "Loosen strictness of video bus
                    detection code"
           Product: ACPI
           Version: 2.5
    Kernel Version: 2.6.32
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
              Tree: Mainline
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P1
         Component: Power-Video
        AssignedTo: acpi_power-vi...@kernel-bugs.osdl.org
        ReportedBy: zaj...@gmail.com
        Regression: Yes

Resuming doesn't work for me anymore in 2.6.32. It did in 2.6.31. I test s2ram
from init 3 and I bisected problem to:

ACPI: video: Loosen strictness of video bus detection code

    BugLink: http://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/333386

Currently a video bus device must (beside other criteria) define _DOD and
_DOS methods to be considered a video device.
Some broken BIOSes prevented working backlight control by only defining
both
for one (non-existing bus) and only _DOD for the rest. With this patch in
place the other bus definitions were considered too and backlight control
    started to work again.

This commit gratefully introduced backlight control for me but causes
regression at the same time.
