--- Comment #38 from Chris Bagwell <ch...@cnpbagwell.com> 2010-09-28 22:12:24 --- I have upgraded my 1005PE netbook to Fedora 14 Beta which includes kernel 2.6.25.4 and more importantly the eeepc-wmi module. I also am using BIOS 1103. I can now boot WITHOUT any acpi_ options and both eeepc_laptop and eeepc_wmi modules get loaded. This combination allows adjusting the backlight normally (including Gnome giving visual feedback). I'd consider this bug report resolved. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start uncovering the many advantages of virtual appliances and start using them to simplify application deployment and accelerate your shift to cloud computing. http://p.sf.net/sfu/novell-sfdev2dev _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
