I believe that this came up about a year ago, and it was decided that ASP.NET questions are more than fine on this list. Also, if you have not yet discovered the priceless resource of the Microsoft public newsgroups, I suggest that you try them out. microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet is a very active group.
