Personally, I hate dynanically sized sites. From a consumer's point of view, I have my monitor running at 1600x1200, and I hate sites with text that stretches across the whole page. It's often too hard to read. From a designer's point of view, I dislike losing another element of control over how the site looks (and there's few enough of them to begin with!).
