Can you advise on directory structure that segregates HTML/ASP pages
from other data/documents, e.g. PDFs, DOC, etc.?

The primary reason is to facilitate backup. ASP/HTML pages are
typically smaller in size and change more often. Data/documents are
typically bigger in size and change more frequently.

ASP pages are more critical

Currently related files are stored in folders by content topic or
application on web site. The web site is an intranet.

e.g.
/topic1
/application1

Thanks in advance.
