Forgive me if I'm out of place, but I don't see the value in averaging then grouping all of these fields in the same resultset. Wouldn't the averages have more analytical value if they were returned separately and individually without a group by clause? Or are you basing the results on "if the response to q1 is x then the answer to q2 is most often y, but if q1 is a then q2 is more likely b..." Even then, I think a more direct approach would yield better results. :/ Regards, Shawn K.
