I had in fact already downloaded ethereal onto the test machine so
that I
could confirm the MIME types it was receiving. =)
You need more than MIME types, you need all of the http headers.
From my experience the only thing worse than Windows IE was Mac IE
which we
are gleefully phasing out and only supporting Firefox on the Mac.
If you are supporting FireFox, support Camino as well. It's based on
the same HTML engine.
